Meredith M.

Meredith originally found FlyDog Yoga in order to heal from her many injuries from parenting, tennis and running.
Meredith grew up in Atlanta, GA and was a competitive gymnast in her youth. She and her husband moved to Charlottesville in 2004. After the birth of her three children, Meredith found herself trying to recover from complications due to her c-sections and trying to find her fitness again. She began running marathons and thus continued her long past full of injuries due to improper alignment, and overuse. Then she found FlyDog!
Meredith should not work for a yoga studio. She can only get within 3 feet of touching her toes (on a good day). However, in her barre classes, her flexibility (or lack thereof) is not on display. Be prepared to learn news ways to work your muscles, shake and hear some really bad jokes in her fun, heart-pumping classes.
Meredith went through Barre training in 2016 and is currently working on her STOTT Pilates reformer and matwork certifications. She is a full time real estate agent with Wiley Real Estate. When she is not with her kids or at work, you will find her on a tennis court or struggling to make it through a power yoga class!
