Yoga is a discipline that can lead kids on the path toward a calm and balanced mind, as well as help them build a strong and flexible body - tools they can use in their everyday lives.
Yoga postures imitate nature and animals. I use this imagery to encourage children to play in this medium, exploring how the body moves and reacts. I also use music and stories in the class to encourage the imagination and inspire their little bodies. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate.
